I agree that STOPPING them from getting married (like so many states do) IS stomping all over their rights. I think it's unconstitutional to stop them from getting married.
I do NOT think that advocating against them is stomping on anybodies freedom. Just because he doesn't agree with you and I doesn't mean we can stomp on his freedom to say so.
I'm not "blind". But you seem to think there can only be one way of thinking. I recognize that he has the freedom to be a dumbass. You think we can just force him to shut up and force him to not advocate against gay marriage.

And as I said, in my opinion this thing has turned into a backlash and gotten all the religious wackos all fired up.
That's usually the way things work.
IF the owner of Chik-Fil-A had actually said something outrageous it would be different. But he didn't. He basically has the same stance on marriage that Pres. Obama officially had up until a few months ago when he suddenly "evolved".
I think the guy from Chik-Fil-A is dead wrong. I also think that people trying to crucify him are dead wrong.
