Was at my son's wedding, and one of his old high school buddies is with LAPD now. He was talking about a traffic stop he did that made him pretty well known around his division.
Him and his partner had pulled over some lady for a traffic violation. After getting her license and registration he proceeded to write the citation, and as he handed it to her to sign, his cell phone started ringing. His ringtone? Bad Boys by Inner Circle.
His partner could not refrain from cracking up and had to walk back to the squad car. The lady just looked at him with a look that pretty much said, "are you kidding me?"
He was so embarrassed that he just told the lady "never mind" and tore up the ticket.
Needless to say he immediately changed his ringtone and no longer carries his cellphone with him during traffic stops.
