MAJOR Issue with Firefox and CCBill Join Pages...

I just wanted to see if anyone else is having the same problems with Firefox 2.0.0.9 (current version). Whenever I try to go to the SECURE CCBill join pages, my machine hangs up and requires a reboot. Everything works fine in IE. I have tried the joins on several sites including ours, KatesPlayground, DawsonMiller, HotWifeRio and all have the same issue. I have run Spybot S&D and it reports no problems. I am hoping that this is just an issue on my machine. Can some of you try it and post your results.

Im using the same verion of Firefox and our CCB join pages seem to work fine

I really think this is a problem with your machine. We have tried numerous boxes and sites over here and none had such an issue or any issue at all really. Please hit me up so we can discuss further.

Hitting you up now. I am glad it's just me but the machine is less than a month old and it seems weird that it just impacts FF. When the secure page starts to load and it freezes, the status bar indicates that it is contacting "SECURE.FOOTPRINT.NET".

If it was happening with all your browsers and you had a LINKSYS Firewall Router, I would say it was a LINKSYS Firewall problem. I have this problem with two of my computers that won't let me sign up with CCBill sites and some others.

I just found the problem!! It is due to FF being set to not allow cookies. I discovered it by trying Gmail, it detects the situation and alerts me that to connect to their secure server, I must allow cookies. I am ICQ'ing with CCBill now to let them know what the problem is.

I am going to add some sort of notice on my site that you need to allow cookies to join.

I have no idea what secure.footprint.net is! I was puzzled by that as well.

I was in no way blaming CCBill for the problem. Thay have always been extremely helpful and anxious to do what they can to help you out. I figured it was some sort of compatibility issue between FF, secured servers, and some other unknown combo, and was seeing if anyone else was getting it.

CCBill is unable to recreate it so far, but are still checking on the issue. I tried another machine, but it was running XP, and couldn't duplicate it. I am curious if it is Vista related. I get the same problem with all CCBill sites I try, if "accept cookies" is unchecked. If I turn on "accept cookies", it works. If I then uncheck "accept cookies" delete them all, close the browser and restart, the problem reoccurs.
