1. The bulk of my current business already originates from outside the US and is being billed in other currencies.

2. It's really naive to keep thinking that the world economy revolves around the USA, when China, Japan, Saudi Arabia and a few other nations could buy and sell the US several times over. The only reason why that hasn't yet happened is because they have not had enough military power to back it up. But guess what, money can buy military power too. If the US keeps up the arrogance I think it's only a matter of time before some other nation decides to make the US its bitch, just to prove that it can be done.

I think what you'll find is that the US $ keeps the world economy aflot. If the US $ would cease to exist, OPEC would shift trading to Euro, and then the Euro would become the world economy.

Saddam switched trading of Saddam Oil? to Euro after the 91 Kuqait shenanigans. That pissed the US off, and with good reason.

Oil lubricates the world's cogs. Not the US.
