I criticize all equally according to how much they are trying to take away my rights or property; not, by their efforts to make the world better at THEIR own expense. Without know them personally, I make no assumptions about what motivates them to action.
However, I can say from personal experience that most trailer-park philosophers that I know are motivated by low self esteem, self loathing and depression.

What does slavery have to do with racism?
Slavery has existed for 1000s of years. The Greeks had slaves. The Persians had slaves. The Romans had slaves. Several Indian tribes (or is should I say "Native-American tribes" to be politically correct?) had slaves. Until late into the 1800 entire coastal regions in Spain and France were abandoned because Barbary pirates would raid the villages and capture slaves. The population of Ireland was decimated when the English started 'barbadosing' people. Most black African tribes and kingdoms had slaves. The ancient Egyptians had slaves. The Israelites had slaves. The Hittites had slaves. The Mongols had slaves. etc
Imho, those who try to conflate slavery and racism into one thing, either don't know their history or are deliberately trying to confuse people for political or financial reasons.Comment

This is pretty messed up. It reminds me of the movie Jesus Camp which is a documentry about a bible camp that is pretty extreme. In one scene the woman who runs it was telling the kids that they would go to hell if they read Harry Potter. In another she had them praying to a cardboard cutout of George Bush.
