    Who would be interested in fighting?

    At an upcoming trade show for charity. Full MMA rules would apply and ref's would insure safety of all fighters. The format would be 1 x 5 minute rounds for guys who dont train in either mma or boxing and 3 x 5 minute rounds for guys with experience who train in MA or boxing...

    Everyone would fight in their own weightclass and those wishing to fight someone in a higher or lower weightclass would have to make weight 1/2 way between the distance of higher or lower weight class...

    Meaning if one fighter was 150 pounds and wanted to fight a 180 pound fighter, both fighters would have to weigh in at a max of 165 pounds.....

          Not sure if it is as simple as one might think to set something like this setup. I think you have to get the proper approvals and licenses, expecially when you are making some revenue from it (even if it is going to charity).

                      If you watch UFC/WEC/, etc.. I am sure you have noticed how quickly fights are stopped when a fighter gets in trouble.

                      This would not be about people in the industry trying to prove a point by trying to really hurt another person, but rather maybe settling some grudges, getting people to back up their mouth in the ring, raising money for charity, and creating more awareness for MMA....

                          BTW, I am supposed to have my first MMA pro fight in Costa Rica in April, but their is also some interest (from sponsors) in having a fight during the Costa Rica Bash...

                                  I already have a promoter that is wiliing to back a fight card in Costa Rica.

                                  Las Vegas would be a lot harder....
