    POLL: What screen resolution is more popular amongst surfers, 800x600 or 1024x768?

    Anyone have surfer screen resolution stats? From what I can tell, 1024x768 is the most widely used screen resolution these days.

    I'm wondering what percentage of surfers still use 800x600 though.

      Only around 10% still use 800x600. Over 50% use 1024x768 or higher.

                                      A) I doubt only 62% are using IE and also that 43% are still using IE 6 and only 19% are using IE 7. IE 7 was included in a update from MS several months ago.

                                      B) I doubt 28% are using some form of FF.

                                      Of course this site maybe attact those that both use FF and use IE 6 which is kind of ironic if you think about it.

                                                  I'd like to know what % of those 800x600 surfers pay for porn, if they don't want to give like 25 bucks for a used 17" crt at least still, alot of my clients ask me to keep the tours I make for them viewable at 800x600..

                                                      Just because someone has a large resolution screen doesn't mean his windows are maximized. I run 1920x1200 but keep my windows kind of small so I can have a few up at a time.
