Really? If a girl shows you an ID that appears legit and you have sex with her and she is really 16 you will not be tried.

Case law says you are not a cop and therefor should not be convicted because you cannot possibly know the ID is fake.

Bottom line is that you acted in good faith.

Regardless of what he said what you would need to do it get the case to a JURY trial.

Then show what and how people are identified for legal purposes. Make the case that way.
