I'm going to split hairs because it's a Saturday and that's what they're for. Casey Anthony did not get away with murder. The prosecution failed to prove she murdered anyone. She is not guilty. That's how it works.
Obviously some people think she's guilty of murder even after the trial. I guess people should be starting up their political careers so they can enact some serious changes to our legal system. For example, ban all media coverage of pending criminal trials like other civilized countries have done for ages. This way the jury pool is untainted, and the facts can speak for themselves. Otherwise you have no choice but to believe in "innocent until proven guilty" and if guilt isn't proven, "not guilty". There is no such term in the law as "get away with murder".43-922-863 Shut up and play your guitar.

Well I just read the Sanford fl neighborhood watch manual . Google it and uu can download the pdf. Talks about the same exact shit I learned in ga. Call the police know your neighbors, don't confront nothing about carrying guns but if u are confronting why would you have to carry a gun.Comment

Except that's complete bullshit. The media almost always skews in favor of minorities in it's reporting, or at least tries to remain as objective as possible for fear of upsetting the black community leaders. That's in part why the Zimmerman case made the national news and why you will never hear this story:
The other day a friend of mine posted a story about a white girl getting raped by 5 black guys and then she wrote "Why isn't this an issue like T. Martin".
Look at this shit - perfect example:
Not even one utterance of the word black in that entire news piece. No, it's just, "some out of control "flash mobs" are beating people half to death and robbing stores, you know how these teenagers are. What can you do?" Flash mobs - like it was a bunch of kids doing the YMCA in the fucking Gallery food court or something. What it really was was gangs of black kids beating and robbing white people who they percieved to be wealthy. Now whether that was a racial issue or a class issue is arbitrary and besides the point, anyway. The point is that it took the black mayor of the city coming out and basically saying, "Look, stop acting like a bunch of fucking porch monkeys. Pull your pants up and go get a job. And tell your parents to actually raise you" before anyone in the media would even acknowledge the racial aspect of it. And it needed to be said. It's just a shame that if it came from anybody else, it would just be "racist" - end of discussion.
Anyway, the Zimmerman case exposure has more to do with gun rights and this "stand your ground" law than any racial shitComment

As have I...and I carried as did some of the others...and those that did not carry on their person...had a 12 Gage Shotgun in the patrol car. Our policy was to follow a stranger to the neighborhood out of the neighborhood. Our policy was to call the police if a stranger/person's actions were "suspicious"..other wise just keep an eye on that person while they were out and about in the neighborhood. We were told not to confront a person if at all unavoidable.
From all that has been stated as recorded in phone calls to the police he followed the same procedure my neighborhood watch was trained to do. As far as the shooting goes a Judge or a Jury will determine if it was a justifiable homicide or not.When you're running down my country hoss...you're walking on the fighting side of me!
