You know what? THAT is a real answer and one I appreciate. I understand the issue...I'm just not qualified to respond in a way that you (or Rude) deserves. If you feel it's flawed, you are deserving of that and I would
love to hear your reasoning and understand what can be done to meet
in the middle. Again, this is probably not the medium but I can hang
if necessary.

My interest is in making webmasters and advertisers money. It's what I've done for years and what I wish to continue going forward. We have
multiple projects in the pipeline that will give APPROVED webmasters ways to
better utilize our system to make $$$, but valid input can only make the
process better.

As it stands today, we only give clickable embeded links for all uploaded content to "producers" that actually are confirmed, qualified and approved employees or owner of the affiliate program. The status of *producer* is not easily granted and there is a stringent application to verify their ID, provide a digital signature agreeing to our T&C, and provide a link to their affiliate program for us to sign up to. Only at that point will we provide an embed link.

We also have a clear report link under each piece of content that sends the content into a queue for our reviewers as well. The reveiw team then reviews the content and makes a decision based on the proof that is provided and removes it if it violates any rules.


If we receieve a DMCA notice from the owner of any content, the offending content will be immediately removed and the user account that uploaded the account will be cancelled immediately.

Yes, we do because they own it and we want to make sure we put
our stamp of approval on it prior to committing to a link out to an
affiliate site...both for them for content ownership and us as the affiliate, of course.

And yes, we are also worry about unlicensed content. And there are no links out from unapproved content...AND we LOVE to kill it when it comes in and we are made aware. No linking out = no dollars made for the user.

And btw, I'm not trying to get by on "being a nice girl". I'm just stating that I will answer you when I can do so with some experience. But I am nice, though I don't think that affords me privilege.

These works have been automatically brought under the statute and are now given federal copyright protection. The duration of copyright in these works is generally computed in the same way as for works created on or after January 1, 1978: the life-plus-70 or 95/120-year terms apply to them as well. The law provides that in no case would the term of copyright for works in this category expire before December 31, 2002, and for works published on or before December 31, 2002, the term of copyright will not expire before December 31, 2047.

Under the law in effect before 1978, copyright was secured either on the date a work was published with a copyright notice or on the date of registration if the work was registered in unpublished form. In either case, the copyright endured for a first term of 28 years from the date it was secured. During the last (28th) year of the first term, the copyright was eligible for renewal. The Copyright Act of 1976 extended the renewal term from 28 to 47 years for copyrights that were subsisting on January 1, 1978, or for pre-1978 copyrights restored under the Uruguay Round Agreements Act (URAA), making these works eligible for a total term of protection of 75 years. Public Law 102-307, enacted on June 26, 1992, amended the 1976 Copyright Act to provide for automatic renewal of the term of copyrights secured between January 1, 1964, and December 31, 1977. Public Law 102-307 makes renewal registration optional. Thus, filing for renewal registration is no longer required to extend the original 28-year copyright term to the full 95 years. However, some benefits accrue to renewal registrations that were made during the 28th year.

I signed up on a rude. I think a year ago I haven't really done anything with my profile on there haven't really had the time to fit it in but with my new website coming out I will have to squeeze in sometime to update my rude page to be a producer page/certified webstar.
