San Diego Peeps.. Where is a good place to go on Saturday Night?

I am heading to the Gas Lamp District, but just wanted to get some names of some places. I heard of this new Hotel The Ivy that has a club on the roof, anybody hear of that place?

First of all, San Diego is LAME
unless you are in a frat. which is lame in and of itself - so no letup there.

but in the gaslamp district there used to be a bar called "The Red C" that i've enjoyed a few times. It's in a basement.

otherwise your best bet is the Hare Krishna temple on Grand Ave. It smells nice.

edit: i'm pretty sure Bob Rice is down there and is a party type. you should ask him.

You will honestly walk past many clubs on every street. Just depends on what you are into...Ole Madrids or Bitter End are old school but even without the name of the "now" club, you'll have a blast!

Hit up On Broadway, Martini Ranch, Stingaree, or any number of places in the Gaslamp. Confidential is great. Thin is a great spot. There are tons of hot women in the Gaslamp.

Yea that place is hot right now, hottest place in San Diego I think.

Do you want to get drunk on $10 cocktails or do you want to get laid?..The dive bars downtown are great for low hanging fruit...Tivoli Bar, Star Bar etc

the new joint is the ivy. on f street and 6th. Then the usual... on broadway, belo, confidential, the field (pub), dublin square (pub), aubergine, thin, onyx room... plenty to check out once downtown.

Definitely Gas Lamp Gary. I forget the name of the hotel, but it is owned by Australians and has a nice bar rooftop. The bar is called the JBar, I believe. It is down by Petco Park.

The Ivy is pretty cool, they have the rooftop bar, a club downstairs and a lounge somewhere else in the building. Ton's of smokin hotties
