    Does PR mean shit?

    I got about 60 domains with decent sites. But Google only seem to like one of them. It's a Blog where I post about Freeware/Open Source-apps and games.

    I always seem to get the new posts indexed in less than 20 minutes. And pretty much always on page 1 or 2 in Google. And this is a PR3 site.

    I wonder if PR really mean anything. Google seem to have set my site into their "trusted-site-list" or something.

                                      I had pr0 and pr1 that beat out pr8 websites...

                                      Everyone said that pr overrides everything else as to get a good position with in Google... but that is BS!

                                          If youre talking about PR shown in the toolbar or on these SEO websites - nahhh - doesnt mean anything - its a nice little indicator of imaginary fun for webmasters

                                          If youre referring to PR as the initials of Page Rank within the Google algorithm - which you cannot determine for your sites in any shape or form other than to guess - sure its the main basis of the entire algorithm for the search engine - but again there is no way of reliably telling what your page rank is.

                                                      I can never understand when people buy links they always want to buy links on a site that has a high pr ranking. They some how seem to miss the point of the traffic quality and quantity.I have two sites one was a pr 3 with not much traffic and the other was a pr0 with much higher traffic yet most of the people wanted links on the prs3 site ..dont make sense to me , so I Guess pr must mean something to some people

                                                          PR is a game for idiots.

                                                          "Oh my site is PR5 - I demand 10x the amount for this domain!"

                                                          Who cares. Anyone worth their salt in this game knows PR doesn't mean anything in terms of traffic quality. It's like what others have said above for the most part.

                                                              I have a non-adult site that gets around 4 million uniqes a month and it is PR4. I have another that gets 100,000 uniques that is PR5.
