How about just making 10 million in the next 20 years? That’s more feasible.Comment
-
What if you make the deal, and then get hit by a car the next year? That would suck.
I think I'd take my chances with what I currently have.email: [email protected]Comment

Sure, I'm going to live until I'm 125 yrs old. So give me $10 million and you can kill me on my 105th Birthday. We will call it assisted suicide.Comment

Only if I knew I had a short time to live left, that would make it worth while. I like the poster who answered he'd rather MAKE 10 m in 20 years! Thats thinking.lWhen choosing between two evils, I always like to try the one I’ve never tried before.Comment

Hmm, that translates to 500k/year, if it would be possible to do for example 2 years for a million then it's probably worth considering...
Where would you draw the line? How much do you think each year in jail is worth?Custom Software Development, email: woj#at#wojfun#.#com to discuss details or skype: wojl2000 or gchat: wojfun or telegram: wojl2000

It's kind of a silly question when you think about it, though. If you're willing to work hard for a mere 10 years, half the time, and sacrifice anything and everything to do whatever it takes to make $10 million you will likely reach your goal.BaDoink

at a certain point it makes sense - ie 5M for 1-2 years when the last two years might be painful and crippled at 82. You have to look at how much your quality of life is impacted by the need to work to make ends meet and how that effects the quality of the existence you're giving up. 5M could free up 20 years of good quality life by removing the need for constant work.
Most people have to work 40+ hours a week at a job they don't like until they're 50+. Thats 87 days worth of work a year you could reclaim to a certain extent. There is definately a benefit once you take a few things into account once you look at variables like how much total work over your lifespan you could remove and replace with recreation, the quality of the work left over (still make business decisions but not be tied to the office), the age you were going to die - obviously 2 years if you've only got 5 left is too much.. the quality of life you'd be removing - whats two less years if your last ten is with alzhiemers and prostate cancer? and so on.
that said 20 years is a relatively obvious no no. I'd be happy just for a guarantee i'd be alive in 20 years.Comment
