It iz coz U cannot do prooper HTML and shit and so U need 2 Uz WP instead...

If U were able to do PROPER sites, U would NOT need WP and U wood m8k muney1

I was doing HTML back in the day when you had to update your website by hand.

Wordpress is just a platform that is easy to work with, no different than the TPG software we used to use six or seven years ago.

Instead of spending entire days on website design and messing around with things, I can get a free design out of the box in minutes: sexycatieminx.com

I don't see how I'm loosing money. I'm able to deploy more websites in less time with less effort and nearly no cost.

I see a lot of idiots on the auto forums talking about how you're not a real driver unless you drive stick shift. This sounds like one of those threads...

I can out HTML pretty much anyone, and do everything by Notepad if I needed to. My first job when I was 17 was on the payroll of an ISP in Seattle as a webmaster... and all I did was build sites by hand, and get grilled by my boss when something was out of place.

Anyway, fuck building sites by hand. It sucked back then, but I did it because there was no other way to do it. Now we've got Wordpress... and it's made life 1000x easier.

A buddy of mine has a manual Porsche 911 and that thing has such a heavy clutch it's kind of a pain to modulate... but I can drive it in just as spirited of a fashion as I drive my BMW. Agree, it's an easy platform.

I don't think the losing money has anything to do with using Wordpress, it's more on the lack of peoples knowledge on how to promote their websites. People just do not take the time to learn anything anymore, they do everything on the fly and in bulk and never master one specific niche or category.

I spell of poop too then cause I don't mind using wordpress.

Some might say a real webmaster should KNOW HTML and be able to recognize crap HTML 3.2 style tag soup from 1997. He can then avoid WP themes which are full of such crap, or crap HTML from a WYSIWYG provided by a designer who knows design, but not WEB PAGE design. That doesn't mean they must hand code all HTML, just that they should know how so they know good code when they see it, and can fix problems.

use something like wordpress or buy a tube script.

I don't see how else I could do what I want to do without scripts and databases.
