I heard of a Japanese gameshow that supposedly convinced this guy he was going to be on this awesome reality gameshow and they basically kidnapped him, put him in an apartment that was locked and filled with cameras, and kept him for a long long long long time. It was super weird and I don't know if it was real, but he sure looked eccstatic when they took him to a beach one day to see the sun for the first time in ages.The ORIGINAL & BEST CONVERTING EX-GIRLFRIEND REVENGE site!

do a search for something along the lines of "the contest of contests". they ran a game show years ago where they took this guy, stripped him naked and left him in an empty apartment with a radio, a tv, a telephone, and a stack of postcards. the point of the show was that he stayed in the room until he accumulated 1,000,000 dollars in total winnings from call in radio shows and television contests. apparently the entire japanese public enjoy a couple seasons of watching this guy go completely crazy. when he finally reached 1,000,000 dollars they stripped him naked and threw him in another empty apartment, and immediately he broke into tears. then all the walls dropped and he was greated by a cheering crowd.... that's one hell of a season finale. i read this a couple years ago, so i might be a little off on it, but thats the basics. i've wanted japanese satellite ever since...Comment
