    Portrait or Landscape gallery thumbs in a members area?

    Which do you prefer in a members area, Portrait or Landscape gallery thumbnails?

    Please vote!

    On a personal note, landscape gallery thumbs annoy me if the model is vertical, and most of the time in the sites I promote the models are vertical. It's because I can't see enough in the thumb to know if I want to open it or not, so opening it is more of a guess

                          Landscape video, portrait most the time for photos. Have members areas with both styles. Personally prefer landscape for photos but it goes without saying you need a quality thumb in that 4:3, 3:2, 16:9 etc ratio. If it's a constant burden to find a good landscape thumb then better off going portrait for photo thumbs. Portrait is also easily identified as photo, so if you want to have fast eye separation of photo/videos for members then best to have them look different.
