What is the longest amount of time you've kept a windows 7 desktop or laptop on? I know, it's no linux but I would think it would be safe to leave it running for quite a bit without rebooting, right?

A couple months. Usually by then it starts to get sluggish and stuff starts hanging.

Only when the updates require it or when swapping hardware. Longest I did was 3 months recently. Surprisingly, that's very good for me.Comment
