i guess it depends on your level of knowledge. I actually sat in on Scotty's and Mark from Hoes, and XXXjay on a traffic seminar last year. Same old general shit. about the only thing i learned new was xxxjay saying " being in porn man is like wow, its like being a drug dealer without having to sell drugs". that was something i never knew before since i have never been a drug dealer. I think they are good for people who are just getting started. But if you have been around for more than 6 months you should already know 99% of what they are telling you.
There is always the occasional hot topic like " good vs bad" but that was mainly for "drama" which no big surprise, was the only seminar to pack the room.
In 2000 there was one about presidential canidates, and some good legal ones that were beneficial since I was pretty new back then.
In 2003 there was one about Acacia which was informative and I believe it was either 2003 or last year there was one about dot xxx. The current events type topics are ones that I like to catch. No shit. It goes to show the level of professionalism in this business.
There only two seminars I learned new things (I believe audience too) and this happened for the simple reason I coordinated them myself without playing the buddy-role to participants.
Generally there's no will for speakers to share any actual knowledge. They are organized strictly for two reasons: financial for organizer and exposure for those few, same speakers they take part in most of them. Not only I would feel like a fool talking for two hours with others and actually saying nothing but I would feel bad for those that had to pay to attend them.Comment

did i say that? Being at an event where someone is with a camera doesn't guarantee that you will get your picture taken. They weren't standing at the door snapping pictures of everyone walking in. I also don't flock and suck the dicks of the people who usually do get their pictures taken.
I've seen JFK a few times going around with a camera, however i didn't run in front of him and jump up and down and scream, "over here!!!! omg look at me look at me!!! please take my picture". There is a chance I could have been caught in some crowd pics, I have never looked and never cared to look.
And I don't go to the parties. At the last convention I spent a good bit of time by the pool. there was a wet bikini contest. I wasn't one of the girls with the bikini on nor was i one of the guys sitting 2 feet in front of them trying to grope on them. I was also in the Holdem room that camz sponsored, didn't see them taking pictures in there, at least while i was there. I was on the show room floor a good bit and caught some seminars.
Believe me if you want, I don't really give a shit either way.
Proving to you people i was at a show or not is on the bottom of my list right below cuting my toe nails.
