    Lakers looking better than anticipated?

    I think so!

Two great wins back to back - can they hold up?

Not anymore.. Fisher is controlling the game and getting everyone involved.. They really are looking like a good/great team....

yeah they got back to reality..hopefully kobe is shipped off soon, there is just too much baggage.
great to see Fisher back on the team, it was a huge mistake to trade him. i might start watching them again now.

You obviously have not seen any Lakers games this season - Kobe is sharing the ball and with Fisher with him it is a TEAM effort.

I think they will go far IF they keep this up - now that is up to discussion of course.

                  The Lake Show

The victory against the Suns was a bit fluky as the Suns got back at 4 a.m. from the previous night's roadie.

That said, the win against the Jazz was nice and the team does look better than anticipated.

They are very deep this season. If they can avoid the injury bug and Kobe will shut up long enough for all the players to get some of their trade value back, we could see a deadline deal and a nice playoff run.

But I'm not holding my breath.

Oh, and Kobe's not going anywhere unless he waives his no trade clause.

                  Go Lakes!

The Lakers will be good enough to make the playoffs. BFD - they lose to Phx, SA, or Dal in 4.

I am a lifelong Laker fan and I feel like it's '92 all over again. We are going to lose our best player and end up with a bunch of Nick Van Exels and Elden Campbells.

They still don't have a Kerr/Paxson-type sharpshooter, Odom is no Pippen, and Jordan's shoelaces had more leadership skills than Kobe will ever have.

Worst of all, Boston is back on top and looking ferocious!
