But consider this. When surfers click those links they stay on the site for a long
time. So is google going to move their links down because they scrape when clearly
the surfers like it?
I don't think so.
If a site comes up 10th in results but 50% of surfers click that link over the other
9 then it would make sense to move that link up in the results.
Google's ultimate goal is to direct surfers to the sites they want to surf the most,
not to make rankings fair.
