Brandon, both issues are battery related. Try making Apple give you a new one, can't cost that much.
I'd love to get one but am such a spaz when it comes to dropping shit it would last as long as my three day ipod.Comment

the iphone gets hot only when u charge it and use it while charging.....i haven't had any other problems with it's getting hot than this one (if it can be called a problem)
