Many people get arrested for BS.
http://consumerist.com always have horror stories of people being arrested for crimes that aren't crimes cause the cop(s) were so dumb. Couple a weeks ago a guy got arrested for making a purchase at a Best Buy with $2 bills. Seems the store manager and the arresting cop were so stupid they thought there was no such thing as $2 bills. Couple of hours after being in jail, the Secret Service gave the cop an education in US currency.
This arrest would have gotten the guy listed as a counterfeiter.
