      In my honest opinion you may be better off with a cheapie dedicated server somewhere that has more dedicated CPU and RAM resources - or just a VPS that has more of the same with a more personable host - yes you can find that, lots of choices here on GFY. I don't suspect we would be compatible with your budget on either front. With that said, I do suggest talking to Chris at http://www.way3.com - same infrastructure as us, just geared toward a wider range of products - especially in terms of entry level. Cheers

        One thing that has not yet been addressed here, is that proper optimization and caching of your SQL database(s), as well as a decent http compression engine, will greatly affect how much resources you will use.

        I have seen up to 70% performance gains when both of the above are properly implemented.
