According to Americans, is the term 'Single' attached to financial obligations? Single means you don't have someone who you are either falling in love or in love with. It means that if it tickles your fancy, you will not feel any guilt in having sex with whomever crosses your path. If you don't feel like going home tonight, it's not a problem - nobody to call - nobody to answer to.

Single means you are not in a relationship - whether you are in America, Canada, or Timbuktu.
