- can't use openvpn on iphone
- gets harder and harder to jailbreak and you can only install software that apple says you can install
- can't change keyboard software... this is a big one for me. I don't care what you say about the apple software, swype is far superior
- as far as I know, you can't even change the theme on the damn things
- forget custom roms
The iphone/ipad/ipod are like prison, apple are the guards and you are the prisoner.
Android is freedom.

I had one but gave it away. It's waaaaay too big + the shape of the phone it made my hands hurt when holding it for a long time. I really don't like big phones. The S2 is big enough already, really don't need bigger than that.Comment

On my old iPhone 3g and 3gs I had apache and a ftp server running on it. I can't think of anything you can't do on an iPhone that you can't do on other phones (including playing flash files)
I switched to android because of the option to have a real keyboard. Design and functionality wise I think apple made a better complete product than other phones on the marketI buy plugs

I have no idea about your Android experience (you haven't mention anything about it here) but I have a problem speaking to my friends who bought iphone 4s. Everyone with iphone 4(s) I'm talking to has a similar problem - during the call the voice gets suddenly horrible distorted and then it comes back to a normal or... the phone just gets "out of range". I really have no idea why people still buy this useless gayish crap from apple.

Did you say "Russia"? One friend of mine bought his iphone 4s in the EU (don't remember the exact country, sorry), another one brought it from the UAE (the country he spends 90% of his time).
