Good ol days - I wasn't around when they were here, so today, right now, this year, last year, next year are the "good ol days' for us.
Piracy - Something needs to be done about it. If I had it my way, I round all the thieves up, lock em in a huge plexi-glass box with a million deadly scorpions; then watch as the life is poisoned out of each and every one of them. Then I'd piss on their corpses.
Our flagship site, Trike Patrol, is a constant battle with piracy. It's a never ending battle that does nothing but drain time, energy and resources. Sales for this site are still good - and constantly growing - but I think they would be even better if there were no piracy.
Our latest site - Filipina Sex Diary - has no issues with piracy at this time. The worst thing I've seen are a few people asking for help on downloading our videos using rtmpdump. Thus far, none have been successful. This site offers no downloads. As an end result, as of right now, we don't have to worry about battling piracy.
Doesn't mean piracy as a whole doesn't still affect us, because it affects everyone. But I personally believe that if you do everything you can to combat it, and make a product worth paying for on top of that, there is still money to be made.
As I stated in the Paul Markham thread, for the past 2 years we've doubled our profits from the previous year... and we're projecting to damn near double again this year.
Now, we're just a small 2 man operation that just recently became a 3.5 man operation so naturally, our success is in the eye of the beholder. Are we making anywhere near as much as the 'big boys' like brazzers, bangbros, etc? Not hardly.. Are we turning a good enough profit that not only allows us to put food on the table but also allows us to live life and is ever increasing? yes indeed, we are.
