Have you ever taken a look inside a contest thread

Probably twice Batts - to see why the thread got so many posts - then pressed the back button

The last think I want is an iPod, a car or tshirts - conversions and money is nicer

Why should I care if they give out prizes to damn outsourcers and post whores who will not promote them. So those companies better damn well make sure they get all their information in their thread title that gets bumped oven cause I never peek inside.

I was just curious as i dont go in them and to be honest they become annoying when all the contest whores are bumping them all at once, it clutters my GFY experience

Yep I've looked in them and got the same result you did, I think most of them are surfers and just plain desperate broke fuckers, it's kinda sad that some of them become green just from being a contest whore

old facts... all those every 100 post gets $50 threads = 100% surfers

I can't see how a program can gain anything by giving $ to surfers.

A rule of sending at least one sale to the sponsor would change a lot.

if you do a post history on most of them, they have never posted in any other threads other than the contests

programs should only pay out proven webmasters

we only pay exisitng afiflioates and that is usually a rule in the contest. we also only pay verified webmasters.

we arent stupid like most programs.

but it is good branding by having your name bumped every time a post comes in wither it be a surfer or not

It was fun at first for a while, then 100 different fake nicks appeared... it became stupid, half of them were probably outsourced idiots from overseas, the other half were probably bots...
