Now that Babes.com has launched I can comment.
Stephen does not involve himself in the production of the Hardcore material.
I directed and shot the majority of the B/G material on Babes.com.

The genius in that trailer is that it's not just porn, it sends the subliminal message that this could have been your morning fuck with a hot babe... or with a hot guy (from a females POV) - so yeah, it could very well sell to both genders - imho.

The trailer is AWESOME. As I said earlier...I only WISH I had the ten grand worth of plugins for my CS6 Premiere Pro to be able to do those kinds of edit transitions and effects.I'm no woman, but going by the reaction of my GF when I've just showed her the trailer and extrapolating that - this could also sell to women

My comment was based on a couple of people saying that this site was "made for women"
If that turns out to be the case, it will be a major flop.
Even if women like it...having them actually PAY for it would be nothing short of a miracle. Especially since sites like PornHub have already educated the majority of people to NOT pay for porn to begin with (that's where the irony comes in).
So Fabian had better hope that enough men out there are just craving for one more softcore "artsy" wimpy porn site. If so...then he has a hit on his hands.

Looking at our current "artsy wimpy porn site" ratios it tells me this will work out well. With a domain like that and the resources Manwin have they can make most work out and im having faith it will.
Beta should start tomorrow and im planning a big push for it. Im willing to report back on friday with some ratios (good or bad) if you (or anyone for that matter) would like?

I signed up for it too. Wanting to see what happens. But my experience tells me it will be a "mid" seller at most.
Nothing personal or any kind of attack against the quality of the site.
I'm just saying that this kind of thing has never sold as well as hardcore...and these days it's even harder to sell.
You're right that Manwin has the ability to shove it down people's throats by advertising it heavily on Pornhub and their other tube sites. Don't think that will be helpful to us as affiliates however.

Oh it's gonna be an easy one to brand for sure.Personally I think a domain like this will have a good effect on surfers due the the fact that its a great "cool" domain which people might connect to a great product faster. Does that make sense?!? Downside is that as an affiliate you get to push the babesnetwork.com domain so you basically brand another domain (like brazzers, bangbros etc all do) but lets see.
Anyway, lets see how this will work out
But as you pointed out...it ain't gonna do much for us as affiliates. And in this age of everything is "free" I'm thinking it's biggest effect from the easy branding will mean that surfers will just type "babes.com" when they are searchig for free porn and that makes it easier to find all the pirated free scenes from it.
I would say that if this were pre-piracy explosion times...say 2006 for instance...there was enough fat on the bone that this would have been a multi-million dollar site.
These days? It's a toss-up. That softcore niche isn't as big as hardcore...though the hardcore pie is obviously cut up a lot more.
But nothing is selling the way it SHOULD because of sites just like the ones that Manwin owns (pornhub, keezmovies, etc) So I guess we'll all see what happens.-Robbie

Affiliates have no automatic rights to get a slice. As for piracy, they now have a product worth hitting pirates over. do a Corbin Fisher on any piracy site with their content on and it will scare the others away.
Pre 2006 it could of been done. Most people were too interested in putting up cheap crap. This stuff could of gone down great on DVD.
It looks good and Mutt is right, it's a little late. Better late than never. My only complaint is with the samples, nothing to set the scene. Would sell better if it were more orientated towards what others did in "porn valley"
