what's with all the threads about so and so hosting down?? People should think before they post stuff like that. If your phone doesn't have a dial tone does that mean ATT is down? Could be a million things and the least likely one is probably the entire host being down.

I guess GFY has grown on me too much as i was a little brash in my response and i apoligize to all i might have given a scare. That was not my intent, just thought it was crazy that such big sites were down at the same time. Sites are all back up which makes me happy as i promote them there sites.

There was downtime. Some sites worked for me (cherrypimps, lightspeed) for me, some sites didn't (camz, naughty allie, etc.)
Some worked for some people on the net and came back right away, but not for everyone across the net, it got a little scattered.
I feel for natnet's network person, there's nothing worse than when a network goes down and there's people breathing down your neck to get it back running. It could be a router/switch vendor software bug that triggered it, it could've been pebcak. Guess we'll wait and see what the announcement is.Comment
