    Porn on my iPad

    okay i'm loving this thing more everyday. Coming from someone who bought it just to line up some retina icons on a jquery mobile app for a client. Thought I was going to resell it a day later but I decided to keep it.

    Anyway, how do you get movies on it without iTunes or JailBreaking? I'm still on the fence with jailbreaking, considering some people have reported a noticeable battery loss/drain. I have tons of mp4 and my entire dvd collection 1000+ movies have been ripped .vob format. I'd like to be able to watch them even if its streaming via wifi

      I enjoy mine too, and I just got mine for testing as well. What I don't understand is why people build iPad specific tours when normal sites are fine.

              Use Handbreak to convert the vids, and then drag/drop them on using iTunes if you want to put them directly on to the iPad.

              If not - Use ServeToMe and StreamToMe to stream them from your computer to your iPad. Almost any video format will work.

              No need to jailbreak for either solution.

                      what i've learned after a month of banging my head with jquery mobile is there is no need for multiple site designs anymore. if you build a responsive design one site design can auto adjust it self for any device. No more setting width/height by pixels its all percentage.

                                  Most do ... now. For us it was mainly PR, we were the second iPad site out there (Apple beat us) and we got good joins from it. Google helped too, not many listings for iPad porn. And no one was advertising iPad optimized on their PC site.

                                  At the time the iPad first released, most tube sites weren't compatible on the iPad, which made having an "iPad optimized banner" along the side of vids that couldn't play awesome for promotion. Conversions use to be 1:200 then the tubes got iPad friendly. Say goodbye to quality conversions ... went to shit.

                                  Now, if your regular site works on an iPad, don't develop another tour.

                                      Yeah. That IS the entire point of HTML in the first place , the whole reason we use HTML and not PDF.
