I won't even be around for much of tonight... so I just bought a bunch of candy at Target, and a throw-away bowl... put it on the porch.
Maybe people will be too scared to let their kids take candy unless someone hands it to them, but I have no real alternative.Comment

I went to costco and bought the normal sized candy boxes again like I do each year. Knowing past years I figured 10-20 kids. So I bought 2 boxes of Reeses peanut butter cups. One regular and one white chocolate. Each kid got 2 of each. I still will have left overs but the few kids on my street never ever give me shit or problems.Comment

Our house is set so far back from the street, I have to set out luminary bags along the drive way to attract the candy monsters. It was extra fun this year, Roy dressed up like a scarecrow, sitting in a chair and scaring the bejesus outa the lil rug rats.
Lots of princesses this year and only one crossdresser.
