Actually gimme-website is one of the few designers I will pay 100% upfront to because I know she will always deliver quality designs in a reasonable time frame.

I lost about £500 when I first started out.
Simple case of designer/client breakdown.
Anna has produced some great designs for some top sites.
I would use again despite previous mishaps.
Guess that says it all.

Yes i am in house now. (non-exclusive). I am free to run GW and talk freely as GW in my out of hours.
I will not however talk about my inhouse job. Any opinion i have is my own and not reflected/endorsed by my day job.
In 5 years as GW I HAVE failed clients. Two distinct ones spring to mind and it was resolved to mutual satisfaction.

I know who you are. It just didnt realy come together did it , we never got a brief ..just a vague outline of some ideas you were brainstorming (good ones i may add). The content... Didnt happen.
Then you kinda slipped into the ethereal and we never saw you again.

I think i also failed bella bellini. Or perhaps we failed each other.
I remember taking payment in nov and by july the project still hadnt started... so i lost all heart and passion and refunded.
Pimproll. I think we had a lack of commincation about what was expected from each other. PArtial refund was given. We left on good terms
A guy called m****.. We fell out over a logo, but he still comes back to me.
I think a few people have lost money with me. But that was mainly becuase they had no idea of how to be a client to a designer....
If you know what you are doing. come to me.... if you dont know what you are doing, its gonna be frustrating for us both. SO come back later.........
