I didn't look it up. All I know is what I see at the actual real-life liquor store when I go to buy champagne at New Years Eve. NONE of them say Champagne except French ones.
If you'd like to beat a dead horse I guess you could research it and find us one company and one brand that calls itself champagne that isn't from France. Knock yourself out.
