Bump for Gideon "Fair Use" Gallery:
Interesting, because a site owned by the same Aaron Jacques (whom owned and registered jacquesweb.com) was ordered forfeited by an Arbitration Panel in 2007, since Mr Jacques was using the Barbie children's toy trademark to redirect people to porn sites:

To summarize, Gideon...er, Mr Jacques' defense (the owner of jacquesweb.com) was that "(Mattel?s) United States trademark registrations are irrelevant because Respondent is a Canadian resident. Respondent further argues that the BARBIE mark is generic."
Typical Gallbladder style to believe he can pick and choose which laws to follow, and the attitude that he can decide that other people's trademarks and intellectual property are generic and use them to profit from however he wishes.
The arbitration panel ruled against Aaron Jacques and stripped him of his domain since they felt that he acted in bad faith and abused the popular children's toy brand trademark to drive traffic to porn sites.
Great corporate citizen.
I can see why companies like Akira Systems would want to be disassociated with such a lowlife, if it turns out to indeed be the same person.
Gideon still hasn't quite given us a straight answer about that either...well, at least he is finally getting the attention from the industry that he has so desperately craved for years.
ADGI need to get some sleep and focus on more positive things tomorrow...
If I were a GFY Mod, and GG = Aaron Jacques, I would pin this to Mr. Fair Use's (GideonGallery's) sig:

Remember according to GG the mere fact that ANY site allows comments on an upload puts it under "fair use".
So in his world, you can upload the ENTIRE Avengers movie to Youtube, just put "I liked this movie" as a comment and BAM! according to GG that's fair use.

You have to realize that to a big time pornographer like Aaron Jacques he thinks he can do anything.
I guess YouTube bitch slapped him back to reality.
Just like he claimed to be a big shot and making a fortune with his "give it all away free" theories....
Then he got bitch slapped by reality again and we found out he's just an employee at a company. And he can't even make a web page. And he pretty much doesn't understand how the internet works...it took him almost 3 days of us hot linking images off his server for him to figure out he didn't have an index page on jacquesweb.com And then it took him another 24 hours to figure out how to put up an .htaccess file.
You know...stuff that any of us would have figured out within 5 seconds (IF we ever did anything dumb like leave a site wide open as he did)
I've worked with a lot of programmers. Aaron Jacques is NOT a programmer or anything else technical. If you guys had seen the insides of the folders on jacquesweb.com you would have laughed your asses off at all of his failed attempts and complete ineptitude of anything web related.-Robbie
