people arguing international law and politics on GFY is laughable.
Canada has its sovereign right to govern its share of the internet as it sees fit. don't like it, don't deal with Canadian businesses.
America as a whole DOES NOT respect international copyrights either, so why should anyone else? Kobe beef, champagne, romano cheese, to name a few, the list is very very long. in fact we are not even a signatory on a number of large copyright and trade treaties... frankly we brought it on ourselfs(or, well our elected officials did).
@Xpays... LOL, all internet does NOT go through Virginia, only stuff hosted on .com's. intl law has proven this many times before. if it was ran by us, why does al queda still have websites, why are there websites that have animal sex on them, etc etc etc etc etc etc etc... drr.
