I asked in a bar once and he called the stuff they had Mighty Croc or something like that. The label on the syrup box looked similar to Red Bull, but wasn't.

there is nothing really magical in it, it's just relatively high levels of caffeine and some B vitamins... make yourself a strong coffee, and pop some B complex multivitamin that costs $5/100 pills instead for the same effect...

As said above Thailand and most Asian countries sell it in syrup form, in the little medicine looking bottles. I can get it here in China for around $2usd per bottle.
