    Assembly of iPhone in China[VID]

Here's probably the closest look yet at how iPhones are assembled. This is from inside Foxconn?s massive Zhengzhou plant, where 70 percent of iPhones are produced.

One thing about my iPhone I hate is they don't want you taking it apart. After 2 years it was time to change the battery, cost only $20 to do it on my own vs $60-100 to have a 3rd party do it.

I literally had to rip the whole thing apart and then I got to the battery. On the new iPhone 4S they designed it so you have to have a very special tool to remove the battery.

Sometimes I'll get something for less if I can access it more easily. I've got a laptop that's still moderately fast but will keep it because I keep the hard drive bay open and swap hard drives out of it like crazy (all linux distros and hard drives designed for different areas of my life).

You can get the tools for quite cheap. Might be worthwhile to have handy... just sayin.
