    How many hours of sleep have you been averaging lately?

    I get about 7-8, the recommended. When I work out with intensity and my body does go through somewhat dramatic change I can need up to 9-10 (hasn't happen for a while though which would be 2+ hour sessions in the gym).

    If I don't get any exercise and eat moderately it's easy to get by on just 5-6 hours of sleep.


    If you can help it, getting a full 8 hours really makes your mind sharper and just cutting some bullshit out of your day allows you to do this.

                                              I'm a little skeptical of the people that say less than 6 hours. Granted sometimes your schedule will demand it but running with that much sleep that is actually counterproductive.

                                                          About 4 hours to none in the last few weeks, because I'm doing a 5 minute animation job that was a little too big for me. Quite a few trips to the drug store for some Monster Energy drink.

                                                          Once this is done on Tuesday, I get paid like a motherfucker and I'm taking a month off. I have a pitch out there that I'll probably get, but part of me hopes I don't get it, so I can get some sleep.

                                                                          I get 7-8 hours a day these days but I used to go on stints of weeks going on 3-4 hours a day. had horrible insomnia for years until recently.

                                                                                                                                                  Week nights (Sun-Thurs) I go to bed around 10:30-11pm, depending whats on tv, my alarm is set for 7:18am, I snooze till 7:45am then spend 10 mins reading Facebook and twitter on my phone to wake me up. So I get roughly 8 hours by the time I'm ready to sleep. Saturday I like to sleep in, Sundays I usually have some sporting event I have to get up early for, Soccer or Formula 1, so I get out of bed around 7:30-8am.
