Yeah, I had to do it in my garage on sawhorses, with a shitty old skillsaw. Four coats of finish, both sides, waiting between each coat to dry. Sanding solid oak. Trips to the city (45mins each way) to borrow a table saw a couple times. Three trips to Home Depot (20 mins each way). It adds up.
I thought it would take 3 days. If I had a proper shop, with proper tools, I could do it in 2 days and make it look twice as nice. Unfortunately, I don't.

I black halloween cat that shits out pieces of candy... Take that!!
that is super sweet. i want to patch in my tables like that. what did you use to connect the puter and tables together?
Basically, the tables are connected to serato scratch, which is in turn connected to the mixer and the laptop to the right of the decks. The mixer is connected to the main pc via line in, and the speakers are connected to the big computer.
Just moved in about three days ago, the first room completed, setting up another desk to get a programmer in house. With that being said here is a pic of my office during day and night. I know the colors are shit of the desk and all that but hey it was pre-built prior to me moving in. Got the landlords permission to paint it all if need be. Can we say black (-:
