I wasn't at all shocked to hear he was gay. I had read a while back that when he won the Emmy he proposed to his boyfriend that night and even before that, well, I think not a lot of people are shocked.
But, when he was recently on letterman he said he was about to turn 40 and I nearly crapped. I figured he was in his lat 20's
