Prilosec is only a short term solution. You need to change your diet and reduce your stress.

*ding ding ding* The wedge pillow is the correct answer. Also take a Zantac before bed.
Shouldn't have to worry about them sticking a tube down your throat, at least unless it gets a lot worse and they have to look for other stuff. The meds (prilosec or whatever) are no big deal and they help.
Good luck with it, it sucks but if you change your diet and eating habits and take the meds, it's usually pretty controllable.
