lisbon is a place where you can REALLY ENJOY with lots of bucks and/or only with a short income.

i am a person who is never standing hours and hours in the same location.
i like to move move move from location to location.
must (of course) payed in past in the most location same "consumo obrigatorio" (minimum consume = entree) as everbody PORTUGUESE.
1 hour here, 30 minutes there, 5 minutes in another bar, pub, dancehall, etc.

i spent the first 2 years each weekend (friday + saturday all night, sunday half night) more or less 1,200-1,500 euro.
NO invited chicks. ONLY for MY curious pleasure.
if for example the minimum consume was 50 euro, i drunk only 1 drink for 10, and the rest was for the garbage... doesnt matter because i had and have the bucks.

but one day (after i made friends) i was asking myself HOW ITS POSSIBLE for portuguese citizen to solve/save their daily life with a monthly 500 bucks minimum income ? and WITH pleasure !?!
because MOST of them NEVER has the possibility to move to germany, switzerland, netherlands etc (and lots of them DOESNT LIKE to leave the hometown).

i went out with my portuguese friends and learned.
- YOU STRANGER / TOURIST must buy a ticket (5 or 7 euro) to visit castelo d sao jorge.
LISBON citizen (me too because i have the residence) NOT. we are getting a ticket, of course, but a FREE ticket if we show the ID-CARD.
- FADO ... they are knowing TOP places with TOP fado-singers. NO minimo consume, no entree, no fraude...but CHEAP locations (beer, wine, coke, water 1,50 euro) with a real family-"flair" AND where you can meet TOP-musicans PRIVATE and make friends.
- MUSEUM ... on sundays morning until 13.00 oclock its FREE FREE FREE ... EACH museum
- LUNCH or DINNER ... go INSIDE and pay more or less 3,90 euro to eat and 0,90 cent for the beer in MAIN of the city. best situated.
and after 1-2 drinks more outside for maybe 3,50 the beer.
- walking in the city or at the beach ... taking a sunbath is free
- visit CASINO in lisbon or estoril to enjoy the FREE artistic or music events
- and and and lots of pleasure more for FREE

OF COURSE, with 500 minimum bucks each month nobody can save her/his life, but as couple where both are working the 1.000 bucks makes it possible.
possible to care, and possible to have pleasure.


i wrote about the differnet prices for street-hookers and bar-bitches ONLY to inform how crazy expensive they are in a country where most citizen only earn 500 bucks.
by 500 bucks a streethooker can only ask 5 bucks and a bargirl maybe 50, but the bargirl is asking 40 % ( FOURTY PERCENT) of the minimum income.
there is NO "balance".
SAME is no balance FOOD-INCOME / CLOTHES-INCOME / SCHOOLBOOKS for kids-INCOME, and all the stuff for a NORMALLY daily life.


i dont like person who are leaving the country/hometown ONLY to make MORE BUCKS BUCKS BUCKS.
yaya :-) we all have a business to make bucks bucks bucks, BUT WE are working INTERNATIONAL for all NATIONALTIES. for US doesnt matter if we are living in eu, uk, us, ru, ca cause WE are earning ever +./. the same money.

WE are following US ... but THEY are following only the money.

WHAT is going on if EVERYBODY thinking and doing same like them ?
the countries with minimum-bucks 500 are empty of workers, the better situated countries are getting more workers and foalling DOWN, because one day there are more person desemployed than working and the social-care-sistem crashed.

ok, YES, i leave my country too. BUT oneside to feel happier and otherside of the stupid german rules for the adult-biz... but NOT same like your /his portuguese friends to follw the "money".
HERE in portugal i have to care MORE about my life as in germany... its the stranger-"bonus"
but i KNOW both sides... MY indivudual stranger-position with MORE money, and the "test-living" same as a portuguese person.
its POSSIBLE to survival WITH pleasure, culture, arts, musics with a income of +./. 500 bucks.

if you are employed, if your boss doesnt has client-orders enough, he is going to discuss with the emplyers to solve the problem.
maybe 1-2-3 holidays less, maybe no bonus-payment at chrismas, maybe unpayed overtime, and so on.
portugal try to do that actual ... other countries did it or will do it too ... but if all employers with good education and better experience leave their country, the country is going rapid down.

NORWAY is actually searching for mils of portuguese highlevel-employers.
ok, move move move and move ... but WHAT is than ?
THAN not only portuguese find a job in another country, than high-level NORWAY employers can lose their job because the portuguese imigrant is CHEAPER.

okokok, i know, i wrote to much ... sorry :-)

in my first post i would only "explain" with examples how nice, cheap, satisfied it can be for YOU to visit lisbon.
for YOU as a business-man/woman with a much more better income than 90% of portuguese citizen.

for YOU as tourist with high or with short income, to enjoy your holidays.

and the whore-prices was only to explain/suggest that "you" (or he, she, it) that everybody needs to inform hisself about whats real happen, because to have attention if anybody tells a price.
nobody needs here a hooker, because each tourist has the stranger-"bonus" which SUGGEST MONEY. if "after" the NORMALLY girls (having-bucks-in-my-eyes-girls) are going disappointed because you are not going to marry she, its HER problem.

NO MAN needs here a hooker too, IF HE is friendly, with attention, "gentleman", pak wan, and romantic...because portuguese guys doenst know how to play, and for portuguese chicks its new and unknowed.
