Let's face it, the Rockies (and all of the national league for that matter) are sub-par to the Red Sox. This will be done in 5 games or less.

Yea, the Rockies are so sub-par that they took 2 out of 3 at Fenway Park in June and outscored Boston 20-5

1. No Ortiz for 3 games in Denver. If they put in Ortiz at First, No Youkilis which takes out another hot bat and Ortiz has zero range at first and is quite possibly the worst fielding first baseman in the league.

2. Manny in left at Coors is going to be a horror show. Average at best fielder in Fenway due to knowing how to play the ball off the Monster. Anywhere else at the bottom of the league and in spacious Coors its going to be funny.

3. Only 1 days rest which will be travel in between Games 2 and 3 so the Sox wont have adequate time to adjust to the playing conditions and altitude.

4. Rockies hammered the Red Sox in Fenway this year, 20 - 5. Thats against both Beckett and Schilling.

5. Rockies are built like an American league team. Built for power 1-8.

6. 2007 Rockies are the best fielding major league team in HISTORY. Best fielding % IN HISTORY.

7. Oh and also, the Rockies DONT LOSE. 21 out of 22. I dont care if it was the National league, they had to win and they did.

To make the Red Sox a -200 favorite is absolutely nuts. And any Sox fan in here is drinking the kool-aid if they think its going to be a breeze.

Rockies in 5. If they come out and are able to beat Beckett in Game 1, could be a sweep.

Which in Vegas at 20-1 is a nice bet.

This is just one of the reasons I hope the rockies win it.

If the Rockies stay hot they will be unbeatable but the time off may be a factor. Boston's rotation may be better but again if the Rockies stay hot they should take it.

I thought I saw it was 25-1 for a sweep but either way its a good bet. And to think just a month ago the Rockies were 75-1 in Vegas for simply winning the series.

You realize they play 81 games at Coors field right?

Compare pitching stats. Pitching wins championships.
How many big bats did the Yankees have? Alot more than the Rockies. It's all about the pitching.

Actually the Rockies team ERA is less than a 1/2 run behind the Red Sox, and that is pitching 81 games at Coors field like you say.

Rough game last night for them but wasnt expecting them to win. Would have been nice though (see previous 20-1 bet lol). All they need is a split in Fenway. Still dont think the Red Sox will win a game in Colorado. Too many limitations due to the National league park. Rust did also play a factor. Now that 1 game is out of the way I think you'll see a different hitting team tonight against Schilling.
