It's knackered in places but that adds to it's charms.

And lotsa Brazilians. Have fun.

The architecture is impressive. The walls and roofs are well made. House colors are pleasant. Road paving is high quality.

I love that city. Bairro Alto is a pretty cool spot. I also really enjoyed the food.

if anybody think to visit lisbon, DOIT, and do it in june, because lisbon celebrate in june the "holly anthony" (sao antonio) ... its called "festas do sao antony".

loooots of FREE events, top musicans (national and international), theaters, cinema and, and and for free.

the "grand days" are 12./13. june with a beautiful parade at NIGHT and ALL pubs, bars, cafes, etc OPEN END.
parties in all streets ... doesnt matter if "private" or public ... in june here are the bears dacing

but too all over the year lisbon bring you fun fun fun.

Beautiful city but watch out for earthquakes. Few but BIG.

Last big one was in 1755 with a magnitude of 9.0(some scientists say 9.5). There was a tsunami with waves of 6 meters tall, in Algarve it was also felt and the waves were 15 meters tall.
About 40,000 people were killed!

sometimes i use that page too to find a bedroom in lisbon, because i am living not in main of lisbon.
its easier, when i have a chick, to "fall" 3 meters, have "pleasure" (or getting what i like to enjoy), and after "next location - next run".
for double-bedrooms you are paying only a piece of shit more as for a single-room.
check-in with your id, and nobody will ask more for the id of the chick.

i was just discussing this yesterday evening with one of my good friends who is from Portugal. he told me that a couple of years ago university graduates could find jobs where they earned 3000 euro a month. now they can be happy if they find anything at all that pays 500 or 750 - including government subsidies.

i am not talking out of my ass here, i have 4-5 close friends who are from Portugal and live here in Czech Republic because here they earn more than at home.

- YOU STRANGER / TOURIST must buy a ticket (5 or 7 euro) to visit castelo d sao jorge.
LISBON citizen (me too because i have the residence) NOT. we are getting a ticket, of course, but a FREE ticket if we show the ID-CARD.
- FADO ... they are knowing TOP places with TOP fado-singers. NO minimo consume, no entree, no fraude...but CHEAP locations (beer, wine, coke, water 1,50 euro) with a real family-"flair" AND where you can meet TOP-musicans PRIVATE and make friends.
- MUSEUM ... on sundays morning until 13.00 oclock its FREE FREE FREE ... EACH museum
- LUNCH or DINNER ... go INSIDE and pay more or less 3,90 euro to eat and 0,90 cent for the beer in MAIN of the city. best situated.
and after 1-2 drinks more outside for maybe 3,50 the beer.
- walking in the city or at the beach ... taking a sunbath is free
- visit CASINO in lisbon or estoril to enjoy the FREE artistic or music events
- and and and lots of pleasure more for FREE

OF COURSE, with 500 minimum bucks each month nobody can save her/his life, but as couple where both are working the 1.000 bucks makes it possible.
possible to care, and possible to have pleasure.


i wrote about the differnet prices for street-hookers and bar-bitches ONLY to inform how crazy expensive they are in a country where most citizen only earn 500 bucks.
