    Is there really money in mobile redirects ?

    Can someone give me a reason to do this on some of my old properties ?

    There is if you send them to someone that has mobile tours, mobile members areas etc. We just did this for www.creampiethais.com and our mobile traffic is converting really good!

        Sure, it's traffic, it has value just like any traffic does.

        The reason some people redirect their mobile traffic is because many sites do not look proper or work properly on a mobile device. If you use your phone to test out a few sites around the Internet, you might see the issue I'm mentioning.

        Mobile specific sites keep mobile devices in mind and are designed specifically for the mobile device. Often a lighter interface, simpler navigation, less advertising, etc.

        You may want to take a look at your sites on a mobile device and see if they are usable or not. If they are usable, you may not want to redirect. If they are not usable, you may want to redirect to another target. Perhaps work directly with a sponsor, create your own mobile landing page and send all mobile traffic to that page, send the traffic to a broker where your traffic will get sent to the highest bidder, etc.
