Needed to move something heavy upstairs from the garage. Perfect job for my brothers from down south.
So, I pulled into the Home Depot parking lot and headed towards a tree that had 3 work seeking individuals huddled beneath it. As I approached, the 3 ran up to the car but then all of a sudden, there were about 18 of them swarming around, trying to open the doors, and talking through all 4 open windows.
Where the fuck did the other 15 of these bastards come from? Were they piled in the small truck that was nearby like it was a clown car or some shit?
The chosen 2 "worked" a total of 5 minutes. I gave them each an ice cold bottle of water and asked what I owed them. One guys says "Whatever you think is fair." At this point I handed each of them $20.00 and the other dude asked for 20.00 more each.
WTF man? You hang under a tree all morning, I pay $40 for a 5 minute job & give you water and you act as if I still owe you something?
Next time I'll stick with the Croatians down the street. They work harder, never complain, and charge less than they should.
