          I`m sure it`s quite appropriate in Arkansas to wish your wife a `Happy Mother`s day`` since they are often one and the same.

          We`ve gone through this exact same issue here in our household over the years. I guess I must be one of those ``ungrateful bastards`` for telling my wife she`s not my mother. I don`t expect her to wish me a happy Father`s Day...I`m not her father.

          I`ve never really gotten this notion of ``but I`m the mother of your children.`` Yes, you are...but you`re still not MY mother.
