Approach your mom about it. Tell her how uncomfortable it makes you feel to know this. Tell her how you feel. Tell her how much you dislike her for doing this to your father. Tell her you're angry at her. Tell her to 'fess up and stand up for what she has done. The ensuing drama after that will probably be hard, tumultuous and difficult to deal with as they try and use you as a safety net.
However, in the end, confrontation always leads to resolution.Your post count means nothing.Comment

no, you don't tell your dad. He will hate you for telling him, your mom will hate you and you will bring all kinds of drama and bullshit into your family situation. If you can calmly talk to your mom about it, then that may be ok. Don't be confrontational, as you don't know what's going on between your mom and dad - they may be having problems in their relationship, they may even have an open relationship where they can both fuck around on each other. The world's a crazy place now - you never know what's going on with people. So don't judge and it's not your place to get involved, unless you want to talk it out with your mom in a calm and rational way.

I've learned that it's better to keep your nose out of couple problems. Maybe the best thing is talk with your mom, after that it's up to her if she want to talk with your dad or no. Pretty hard situation but good luck with everything.Comment

Before you jump in, it's always good to go into a confrontation after thinking hard about three things: 1) the goals you hope to achieve by confronting; 2) how you will confront (face-to-face, phone, email, etc.); and 3) how the person might react.
Afterall, your Father might already know .. My 1st Husband knew I had a lover. He offered to keep the marraige "status quo" rather than divorce.
The only reason I would address the issue w/ Mom, is to make sure she isn't fucking w/o the right precautions.Comment
