What could eventually cause me to leave this place.
More and more so each and every day I ponder why I bother coming here. I am not in it for the drama, could care less about the would you hit it threads, and the business threads are sparse. I suppose the thing keeping me here really is the hope that I can still find a few people to work with and that some others that I already work with also call this place home.
Though the stupidity level around here has been pushing me to the point of actually questioning why in the hell do I put up with this place. Sure I used to love a good debate on something non business related as the rest of you but holy fuck, even that is gone and we are left with well idiots and kids in stupidity pissing matches. Honestly there is not even a reason to play devils advocate in debates around here as well the idiots reign supreme and remove all logical thought from even the simplest of topics.
I really do not expect much to change, I seriously doubt many will suddenly grow up or that others will find some new found grasp on how to use their minds in a productive manor that does not involve re quoting other web garbage as their own gospel. Yes the free thinkers have become the minority.
I know most would not give a shit, many will also welcome my departure and hell even cheer me on in following posts to leave. Yet this is just something I felt I needed to get off my chest before I snapped. Yes I know this is GFY, yes I know what the original spirit of the board was all about. Somehow though it just has devolved into the lowest common denominator of what it was or should of been.
