everywhere you can heare TGPs are ruining the bizz. It's not all TGPs that do that it's the stealing traffic whores. They have hundreds of categories with hundreds of galleries in each. But they are to lazy to have their own submit page. Instead they have their harvester script and take galleries from my site including my descriptions to post them on their lousy asshole sites.

I ask you to remove my sites of your gallery stealing scripts. Do your own work and don't steal other webmasters work. It's easy to be a board whore when you just sit there and do nothing but stealing.

you dont understand - they don't put his own galelryes on their sites, they steal the gallerie list from his TGP (people send him galleries, he reviews and lists them and other people steal these listing for their site)

It does seem like an asshole thing to do. Apparently some TGP owners don't care if you spider their site. People could get permission before they spider a site. That's not too much to ask IMHO. At any rate a TGP can be considered a database and a database can be covered by I.P. laws so anyone who is ripping off links like that could be subject to a lawsuit.

some people also submit ONE gallery to only ONE tgp to see how the traffic is,paid spot or not,it fucks up their determination on whether to submit to that tgp again... traffic doesnt always equal money my people,especially dealing with tgp's

30% of the galleries I post are my own on my own box. What I don't need is crap sites with crap traffic linking them and burning my bw for no revenue.

And I write a 4-8 word description for all submitted galleries. That's a bunch of work and is very time consuming. These sites are stealing that all. They use my work I do each day for their traffic burning purposes and to top it they burn my bw as well.

Okay, to stop those sites from leeching your gallery bandwidth, add those domains to your .htaccess. They will be able to link to the galleries but their surfers won't be able to visit them.

Figure out the name/ip of the script they use to harvest galleries and you should be able to block that as well.

You guys are really strange. If someone is using unlicensed content you cry. If someone rips your designs you moan. Gallery submitters are bitching when TGPs open their sites in frames.

But when some lazy ass webmasters are stealing the entire work of a TGP (it's not only mine but approx. 20-30 others as well) then that's OK. That webmasters and reviewers have to work several hours each day to get a unique list for their sites. And others are stealing that work, probably 100+ hours of daily work.

It's understandable that those boneprone dick suckers say it's all right. And I understand that all who use such scripts write their funny stuff here. But it's not OK. What those webmasters are doing is still theft.

The really funny part is that most of these guys started with cheating. Most of you have forgotten. And now cause they have some traffic on their sites they are the good guys and the successful webmasters.

this guy has every right to be upset. Reviewing galleries for quality and writing descriptions is WORK, costs him his time or an employee's. Whoever is harvesting other people's galleries without permission is as much a thief as somebody who uses unlicensed content.

Sad thing is that if PK came on GFY with a list of link sites that took her links with her descriptions, there's be 10 pages of outrage and offers to take out the offenders.
